Application of ACSR Conductor USEB-90 Cable
Overhead Power Transmission Lines: ACSR is the preferred choice for long-distance, high-voltage power transmission due to its excellent strength-to-weight ratio, which allows for longer spans between towers.
Distribution Lines: ACSR is widely used in both rural and urban areas for distributing electricity to homes and businesses. Its versatility makes it suitable for various voltage levels and environmental conditions.
Substation Busbars: In some cases, ACSR can be used as busbars in substations, although other materials like copper or aluminum are more common for this application.
Type 61 Rubber Cable Features
Standard: CSA C22.2 No. 52, CSA C22.2 No. 38Conductors: Class B compact 1350 aluminum.
Insulation: Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) or XLPE
Neutral Conductor: Annealed, plain copper wire
Binder/Separator Tape: Regarding this concentric electric cable, a separator tape is applied overtop the helically applied neutral conductor wires.
Jacket: With a reasonable concentric cable price, it has black PVC jacket.
